After completing my french culinary education I was eager to explore other type of cuisines. Asian cuisines such as Thai and Chinese was the direction I took soon after school. Today I like to cook foods that are very bold in flavor and tend to lean towards both southwestern and Asian ingredients. This recipe is flavored by dark sesame seed oil, ginger and garlic.

Pork & Shrimp Fried Rice

A healthy and delicious recipe that is full of flavor, to make an excellent fried rice you need to be prepared. Adding “hot rice” to stir fried rice will get the job done, however often times the rice sticks together and the right flavors don’t come through.

Instead cook off your white rice one a day prior to “serving day” and refrigerate. Adding cold rice seals in the starches and yields a much better fried rice.
