Curry powder is not a single spice but a blend of spice. Curries are used around the world, in Thailand they are combined with sweet coconut mild and served with meats, poultry, fish and seafood. Curry powders are also used extensively in the middle east, often served over couscous which is a grain similar to a small pasta.

The classic Indian curry often combines the following spices, coriander, turmeric, fenugreek, cloves, ginger, red and black pepper as well as other spices. One popular variety of curry in the Middle East is called “Garam Masala”.
