The following are basic instructions for using the Smartware Flexible cookware and bakeware:
1. In the oven and the microwave –
- Do not use in an oven with temperatures exceeding five hundred degrees Fahrenheit.
- Always use oven mitts when placing Smartware into a heated over and when removing after baking.
- To facilitate positioning and removal, always place Smartware molds on a metal baking sheet.
- Make sure that the batter is evenly distributed in the Smartware bakeware.
- Take baked items out of the oven and let it cool inside the Smartware bakeware before removing. Smartware bakeware will be cool to the touch after just two minutes of cooling but the food may not.
- To remove baked items simply invert the Smartware bakeware, apply pressure to the bottom while slightly twisting it.
- Do not use sharp kitchen tools on the Smartware bakeware either to remove food or cut it.
- Do not use Smartware bakeware on a direct heat source such as a grill, a stovetop, or a hot plate.
2. In the freezer –
- Pour batter evenly into the Smartware bakeware and place on a level surface in the freezer.
